Vandaag, 21 januari, is de geboortedag van niemand minder dan Christian Dior. De ontwerper werd in 1905 in Granville, Frankrijk, geboren. Dior stierf onverwachts in 1957.

Na zijn dood volgden onder anderen Yves Saint Laurent, John Galliano en Raf Simons als hoofdontwerpers. Ter ere van zijn geboortedag een stijloverzicht van het Franse modehuis door de jaren heen.
